Industrial Maintenance Technician Job at CHALMERS & KUBECK
Chalmers & Kubeck, a family-owned and operated, fast-paced and service-oriented company is seeking Valve and Actuator Technicians for our New Brunswick, NJ facility.
Our technicians are responsible for removing, installing, repairing, and maintaining valves and actuators for all regional industries. Activities include:
- Disassembly
- Sandblasting
- Cleaning
- Inspection
- Assembly
- Documenting your findings using paper, pen, computer and digital camera.
Applicants must have a sound work ethic and an eagerness to learn.
Applicants with the following past work experiences will be given special consideration:
- Steam systems
- Boilers
- Relief valves
- Valve actuation
- Machining
- Applicants with Consolidated Green Tag training will be given immediate consideration
- Automotive mechanics often have the skills to be successful in our line of work.

This is a full-time PLUS position: 40 hours a week Monday through Friday PLUS overtime as needed. As we are a service-oriented shop, we require travel for weeks at a time and work during weekends, nights, holidays, etc. to meet our customers’ requirements.

Must pass pre-employment drug test, on-going random drug testing and a physical.
