Location: 7045 Troy Hill Dr Suite 500, Elkridge, MD 21075
Schedule: Tues.-Sat. 7:30AM-4:00PM (with occasional paid overtime) making local deliveries with a delivery partner averaging about 8 to 12 deliveries per day (±75% of time) with being indoors working in our warehouse (±25% of time).

What Makes a Great Delivery Driver at Room & Board: You're outgoing and a solid brand ambassador who loves interacting with customers and ensuring an incredible delivery experience. You prefer a role that is more physical in nature and offers variety in your work. You love being part of a team that values accountability and is aligned to a common goal.
A Typical Day on Our Team: You and your delivery partner will make about 12 local deliveries per day, bringing smiles to every customer you meet. Every 4 weeks you'll work in our delivery center for two weeks to carefully prepare our customers' furniture orders and ensure quality. You'll join a dedicated, cross-functional team responsible for product inspection, assembly, staging and local full-service delivery to our customers of our beautiful American-made furniture and home accessories. Safety and Quality are a priority.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
At least 21 years of age (Interstate DOT requirement)
Ability to drive a 24-foot box truck (training provided)
Able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs. by yourself; able to lift/carry heavy items (±300 lbs.) with the assistance of a team member and/or proper lifting equipment
Able to pass pre-employment requirements: criminal background check, clinic physical, drug screen and safe driving record
