We are seeking a HVAC Service Technician who is looking to grow their career. This position will require some travel, an EPA Universal license, and the ability to work well alone and with a team. The ideal candidate will be able to think quickly on their feet and be able to problem solve effectively. As a Service Technician, this position would be a part of our Service department and would be responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of residential and commercial equipment for our valued customers. A working knowledge of commercial- residential HVAC is required to be successful in this role. This position will be required to be on an on-call rotation.

Experience Required: 5+ years of construction experience

Shift: 1st

Schedule: M-F, every other Saturday

Key Duties:

• Responsible for routine and preventative maintenance on commercial and residential HVAC systems
• Service, repair, and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, pumps, air handling units, rooftop units, and split systems
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring of multiple devices
• Travel to different worksites throughout the day and determine problems
• Work in shop when not servicing customers
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of service experience required (Commercial/Industrial/Residential HVAC)
• Universal EPA certification
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Excellent customer service skills/ability to interact with the public
• Ability to make repairing and replacing decisions
• Position requires a pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening
• This position is a safety sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing
• Basic computer keyboard skills necessary for sending and receiving e-mails and entering work status updates for assigned work orders.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
