Controls Installation Technician

This position is for a HVAC/BAS controls installer where you will be provided on the job training and mentoring; as you progress you will also have the opportunity to be involved in online, self-paced training that we offer to further develop your skills and knowledge. Future promotion is available and we believe strongly in promoting from within our organization.

Job Summary

Your function as a Controls Install Technician is to install building automation systems(BAS). The Technician is responsible for safely performing duties assigned by the job foreman and project manager, maintaining a high quality of work, and representing ENTEK in a manner that promotes long lasting, good relationships.

Job Requirements:

• Strong Mechanical aptitude, preferably experience with HVAC, electrical, automechanics, or other similar trade·
• POSITIVE attitude with a STRONG work ethic·
• Self-Starter, self-motivated yet able to follow orders as directed
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be proficient with Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office
• Must be able to pass apre-employment background check and drug test

Job Duties

• Observing and following all safety regulations with required PPE·
• Demonstrate safe and proficient use of tools and demonstrate electrical/mechanical knowledge·
• Install low voltage racewayand wire for Building Automation Systems·
• Install DDC controllers and control devices·
• Take part in training and development opportunities to enhance skill

Physical Requirements

• Perform duties in a work environment that may be hot, cold, dirty andfast paced.·
• Able to squat, bend, crawl, lift and work at heights off of ladders or platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
