Location: Southampton, NY

Schedule: Full-time

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:
Summary: The HR Systems Manager will assist the HR Systems Director in evaluating HR processes, programs and services to identify improvements to optimize human resource operations and to align HR activities across all StaffCo locations. The position will be responsible for collecting, compiling, and analyzing HR data, metrics, and statistics related to employee benefits and leave programs, HRIS and Compensation plans to execute recommendations to improve and standardize processes.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • The StaffCo Site Human Resource, Benefits and Payroll Supervisors may report directly to the HR Systems Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Collects and compiles key HR metrics and data from a variety of sources, including human resource information systems (HRIS) and payroll outputs, benefits enrollment records, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, personnel records, government labor statistics, competitor’s practices, and other sources.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention toward benefits enrollment, absenteeism, leave use, recruitment, compensation, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve existing metrics including, but not limited to, changes to benefits, leave, and compensation offerings.
  • Coordinates with appropriate benefits administration staff to research alternatives for health, wellness, and retirement plans and benefit providers.
  • Facilitates implementation of new processes, programs, and other related initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Provides support and guidance to HR support teams and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing and terminations.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • May guide and/or assist with performance matters, benefit administration, compensation reviews, evaluation processes, staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets.
  • May assist with the implementation of new HRIS applications, modules, and systems.
  • Identifies training needs and educates and coaches site department managers/supervisors on HR processes, policies and responsibilities.
  • Facilitates employee recognition, diversity and engagement activities, training and programs.
  • Conducts periodic audits of Human Resource activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, federal, state and local regulations and laws.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field.
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible experience as a Human Resources professional.
  • Proven HR management experience and record of accomplishment in managing an HR team and department.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, payroll and benefits administration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar human resource management software and practices.
  • Extensive HR knowledge and skills, with a broad understanding of all of the technical and functional components of HR including: strategic planning, recruiting, benefits, HRIS, compensation, organizational development, talent management, employee relations, and training and development.
  • Creative, collaborative and adept at balancing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with patients, office staff and medical providers. The employee must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. This position is largely sedentary and requires the employee to remain stationary for a majority of the day. Any additional physical demands will be outlined and provided by management.
