The Human Resources Generalist supports all areas within CGW. It is an in- house office job not remote. This jobs includes benefit administration, recruitment, workers’ compensation, and other administrative duties and projects. The employee must protect confidential information, assure compliance with State and Federal laws, and exercise exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Recruiting and staffing logistics

o Manages the on-boarding and off-boarding processes.

o Review of original HR documents, including benefits, retirement, I-9 forms; distributes necessary Human Resources information (insurance, policies, etc.).

· Regulatory compliance and reporting

o Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), American Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Department of Labor (DOL), worker compensation, unemployment, EEOC, and others.

· Training and development

o Participate in administering and processing employee reviews which includes the 90-day and annual review process.

· Policy development and documentation; including employee handbook

· Employee relations

o Assists with the development of Human Resources policies for the company regarding employee relations.

o Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought up.

o Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company, performance improvement plans, and terminations. Counsels’ managers and supervisors on employment issues.

o Tracks and posts Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)-required data and files reports.

· Compensation and benefits administration

o Monitors the company wage and salary structure to ensure the company remains competitive with market rates.

o Day-to-day benefits administration services. Assist employees with any issues.

o Develops and schedules fringe benefit orientations and other fringe benefits training.

o Administers Family Medical and General Leaves processes, disability, and worker’s compensation claims.

o Recommends changes in benefits offered.

o Wellness challenge coordination and materials.

· Other job duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree, along with a minimum of 6-10 years HR experience

· General knowledge of employment law and practices

· Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs

· Ability to build and drive process across an organization

· Must have meticulous attention to detail with a track record of accuracy

· Proven track record of picking up new processes, systems, and office support technology

· Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment

· Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing in a professional and effective manner

· Must be comfortable maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality

· Must be highly organized and self-motivated

· Experience or interest in working in a fast-paced and growing multi-state company

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
