Plastic Omnium Lighting Hendersonville, TN 37075

This position is 100% onsite in Hendersonville, TN. This position reports directly to the HR Manager, and is responsible for supporting 200+ employees in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Processes and maintains all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Collects, compiles, and maintains HR metrics and data from a variety of sources
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Facilitates new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or combination of
experience and education

3-5 years payroll processing experience required

3+ years HR experience required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
