Overview

We are seeking a proven, high performing, HR professional to help grow and maintain the MP Antenna Team. The successful candidate should demonstrate an understanding of how HR can support business growth and performance by aligning the right solutions, ideas, skills, and people.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Translate Corporate business and HR strategies into operational and actionable project plans.
  • Educate business leaders and employees on HR policy, process, and practice and ensure effective execution and compliance with policies.
  • Lead recruitment; enter requisitions, source, pre-screen interview candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, contact references, perform background checks, and prepare offer packages.
  • Responsible for employee orientation, development, training, and employee communication.
  • Lead safety and environmental initiatives..
  • Create reports as needed/requested.
  • Effectively resolve employee relations issues through partnership and influence with managers and employees.
  • Support day-to-day HR needs such as compensation or benefits inquiries, KPI monitoring, and other duties as needed.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Maintain HR files including purging of files and record keeping compliance.
  • Administrative support on compliance projects/reports, i.e. governmental, state,, vendor compliance, COBRA, OSHA, and workers compensation

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Current PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimally 3 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on benefit administration, policies, and organizational development.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct one’s work with sound judgment is necessary.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, listening, communication and organizational skills that allow you to interface in a professional and cooperative manner with employees and outside vendors.
  • Must be a resolute collaborator to be able to work with all departments within the company to achieve resolutions.
  • Cheerful outlook, excellent work ethic, and elevated level of customer service and follow up.
  • High diligence and accuracy necessary.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent professional verbal, written and phone communications is required.
  • Must be a “initiative-taker” who will identify problems and initiate corrective actions within scope of responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and excel.
  • Proficient in Human Resources systems including benefits and performance processes.
