OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Our ideal candidate is currently employed in Human Resource for a smaller public or private company with responsibility for Benefits Management, Recruiting, Compliance, Systems Administration, and Employee Engagement. Our corporate headquarters contains 120 professional employees in all disciplines including technology and administration. Nationwide our population is 250 employees. Our ideal candidate has work experience in a global, technology driven organization, supporting a diverse team of experienced professionals who have responsibility for Operations, Marketing and Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and all support functions.

We seek an individual who is insightful and can anticipate trends that will impact Dialight’s ability to attract, retain and develop our talent and build organizational capability to meet our aggressive growth plans. Our ideal candidate has strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, the ability to develop trust and confidence, is self-directed and motivated and has good business acumen.

THE ROLE: Human Resources Generalist for Nationwide employee population and will support a portion of the Human Resource actions for the New Jersey and North Carolina facilities.

Benefits Management:

  • Assist with benefits management, administration, communication, compliance and reporting for all health and benefit plans
  • Work with Senior HR Manager in conducting annual open enrollment process
  • Point of contact for benefit questions and support for employees

Recruiting & Onboarding:

  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified applicants for support and production positions in New Jersey and North Carolina facilities
  • Conduct pre-hire reference checks on candidates
  • Initiate Onboarding in HRIS ensuring all tasks are complete by new hire Facilitate new employee orientations and identify improvements in the candidate and employee onboarding experience

Compliance:

  • Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews relevant policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of US personnel policies and procedures.
  • E-Verify compliance

Systems Administration:

  • Support in running and creating reports, analyzing information, and providing data for the HR function
  • Responsible to the upkeep of the company organizational charts
  • Provides support for various human capital systems, such as performance management, talent acquisition and headcount
  • Maintain organized employee files and HR records

Employee Relations & Employee Engagement:

  • Support daily employee related activities and processes to promote positive employee relations
  • Assist in the development in training and development initiatives

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years progressive experience in the human resources function with a bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Labor Relations or related field required
  • A minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience
  • A Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration may substitute for two (2) years of the general experience described above.
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment, for a technology driven organization, with manufacturing capability, is a plus
  • HR implementation experience with ADP is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $67,158.00 - $84,316.90 per year
