Our Human Resources Department is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join the team! The HR Generalist will Support the daily operations of the Human Resources department, with primary responsibility for supporting data analysis and reporting, HRIS configuration and system enhancements, special projects, and compliance activities.

Other responsibilities include administration of HR policies, procedures, programs, and general benefits support. Provide guidance on matters related to work/employment issues and act as liaison between employees and supervisors as needed. Ensure that policies and programs meet legal requirements and according to Citizens First Bank’s Core Values. The primary duties of this role requires exercise of discretion and independent judgment regarding matters of significance.

Minimum: Associate’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or equivalent and minimum three years of experience in HR; OR, high school education and five years of HR experience with exposure to functional areas of HR, benefits administration, HRIS and payroll as equivalent. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Proficiency with HRIS software

Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups including senior management. Must be able to handle confidential information, and use discretion, independent judgment, and critical thinking skills in decision-making and problem solving. Must have ability to acquire proficient level of knowledge in all functional areas of Human Resources.

Preferred: Associate’s Degree and five years of experience in HRadministration and HR benefits administrations and Power User of ADP or similar HRIS/payroll system.
