Human Resources Coordinator

EFK Moen, LLC, is a Civil Engineering Design firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with additional office locations in St. Charles, Missouri, Chicago and Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia. We are currently seeking a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to take responsibility for a variety of HR administrative duties in our St. Louis office, a position that reports directly to our company president. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge and experience of HR, as well as general administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Lead and assist as needed with all aspects of the recruitment process
• Maintain thorough records of recruitment, hiring, and retention
• Conduct employee onboarding, help organize training & development initiatives
• Act as a liaison and assist in talent acquisition, recruitment processes and diversity outreach
• Assist in the review, development, implementation, and renewal of company policies
• Responsible for research and awareness of national, state, local employment/labor compliance requirements
• Review and make recommendations for benefits and salary/compensation
• Gather and analyze HR metrics/data for reporting purposes
• Track and Submit all required Federal reports
• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and support other functions as assigned
• Ability to travel occasionally for training and/or conferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, or another related field
• 5 years of Human Resource experience preferred
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a collaborative group
• Strong understanding of human resources policies and procedures
• Experience and/or knowledge of MS Office Suite, HR software/databases and/or HRIS Systems
• Familiarity with social media recruiting and on-line job postings
