The City of Peoria is looking for a Human Resources Analyst with a wide range of experience in employee benefits and leave management. This position is a critical role for the City of Peoria as it touches all aspects of employee benefits in addition to support for classification and compensation market surveys. The position will be responsible for: coordinating activities related to employee benefits and workers’ compensation; managing all types of leave; benefits surveys and research; assisting with coordination of open enrollment; coordinating communication of the City’s benefits; assisting with compensation, classification and internal equity analysis; and assisting in the execution of small and large-scale organizational studies.
The primary function of this position is to perform a variety of professional and technical work related to City of Peoria benefit programs and plans. Responsibilities include participation in the implementation and administration of citywide benefits programs to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending programs and workers’ compensation and administering and coordinating special projects. Incumbents in this position provide assistance with benefits, classification and compensation market surveys, analyzing data, preparing reports, performing comprehensive job evaluation studies and performing job data management.

Pay: $60,564.64 - $89,635.67 per year
