Human Anatomy Lab Assistant Job at University of Saint Mary
A part-time position to serve as a laboratory assistant within the Human Anatomy Lab.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with the acquisition and removal of the anatomical donors.
- Assist with dissections and laboratory preparations for undergraduate instruction.
- Assist with undergraduate supplemental instruction as needed.
- Assist with recruitment and outreach events utilizing the laboratory.
- Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Perform general clerical duties aligned with the Human Anatomy Lab.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a current USM undergraduate student with a strong understanding of anatomical sciences.
- Satisfactory completion of collegiate-level anatomy curriculum, preferred.
- Pleasant personality and good work ethics
- Dependable and promptness in working scheduled hours
- Trustworthy
- Computer literate
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work independently and to be creative in problem solving
