Premier Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Specialist to join our team! The HR Specialist will perform a variety of human resources duties, which requires proficient knowledge of personnel policies and procedures related to staffing, new hire processing/drug screening, facilitation of orientation, managing the employee information system to include data entry and reports, upkeep of all employee files/records retention, and employment verifications.

PAY:

  • $18/hourly

Physical setting:

  • Office

Responsibilities:

· Performs employee onboarding to include data entry into the HR Information system and new employee orientation.

· Maintains and handle PHSS’s information with confidentiality

· Ensures data entered is complete and accurate and employees have a thorough understanding of Company policies and procedures, to include the information included in the employee handbook.

· Engages employees and resolves issues expediently, with professionalism and tact. Escalates concerns as appropriate

· Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships

· Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

· Ensure timely and accurate completion of all new hire paperwork, following up as required with new hires on missing paperwork

Qualifications/Skills

  • At least 3 years’ experience (Required)
  • General knowledge of HR policies and procedures required
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; Tech-savvy Preferred
  • Previous experience in HR, recruiting, or other related fields
  • Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
  • Must be able to maintain and handle information with confidentiality
  • Assess Compliance experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, is critical

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
