Location: Denver, CO

Status: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

Hourly Pay Range: $21 - $25

Supplemental Pay: Based on position, schedule and/or availability: Overtime

Mileage and Expense Reimbursement: Maximum Allowable Federal Mileage Reimbursement Rate

REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:

The HR Representative is responsible for day-to-day HR administrative and customer service activities supporting Care Synergy and its affiliate team members and leaders and directly, the Human Resources Department. The position works collaboratively with the Care Synergy Human Resources, Compliance and Education Teams.

  • Supports HR compliance with FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), and DOL (Department of Labor), and OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs).
  • Provides support services to all levels of the HR organization on HR-related accreditation/regulatory issues, understanding standards, policies, and linkage to HR compliance.
  • Supports a continuous readiness plan with scheduled activities designed to prepare for State, CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Health Care), and other regulatory oversight agencies scheduled and unscheduled audits/surveys.
  • Partners with the Directors overseeing HR, Compliance and Education functions to sustain compliance with all regulatory oversight agencies as it relates to employee file documentation.
  • Ensures documents required by accreditors/regulators can be produced and that those in the HR organization that are responsible for those documents are fulfilling their responsibilities.
  • Reviews on-boarding completeness in Human Resources Information System, UKG, and all required documents are received and saved online.
  • Verifies, via a checklist, all HR documents for each team member file is complete upon hire and maintained with updated records, as required: Signed job description

  • Updates professional licenses, certifications, driver’s licenses, auto insurance, and TB questionnaires/tests on a scheduled cadence (e.g., monthly, annually).
  • Facilitates quarterly audits for each Affiliate to ensure audit readiness, utilizing UKG reports.
  • Communicates directly with team members as needed to garner updated documentation
  • Provides recommendations for process improvements.
  • Supports the ongoing creation and maintenance of electronic employee records.
  • Prepares confidential documentation as required.
  • Supports leadership and ACHC, CMS, State and other regulatory auditors/surveyors for each Affiliates.
  • Maintains a “super user” level of knowledge within the HRIS systems on reports that will be needed for tracking compliance documents.
  • Prepares reports as required for HR, Compliance and Education teams.
  • Takes an active involvement in communication and coordination of HR events - may be an active member of various committees responsible for delivering these events or activities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOVE ABOUT YOU:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required. HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: One-two (1 -2) years’ experience in HR department required. Healthcare industry preferred.
  • Equivalency: In lieu of a bachelor's degree, one year of relevant, professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
