Fresh Express: Human Resources Receptionist (309-NA44-Harrisburg)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Human Resources Clerk to undertake a variety of administrative duties. Such duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our Human Resources department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between the HR team and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. The HR Clerk will assist in creating documents, filing, translation for non-English speaking employees, and ultimately, ensure the HR department is organized and operates smoothly to best serve our employees.

The qualifications and skills to be successful in this position include excellent organization, familiarity with Human Recourses software and strong communication skills (English and Spanish). The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma, experience in the manufacturing industry, and some experience working as a front desk receptionist in an office setting, as well as the ability to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure. Following the training, you'll be able to assist the Human Resources team with daily tasks and new employee recruitment.

Responsibilities

· Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

· Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives

· Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)

· Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)

· Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations

· Assist in temporary employee payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)

· Communicate with public services when necessary

· Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

Skills

· Proven experience as an HR clerk/assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position

· Fast computer typing skills

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications

· Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS

· Excellent organizational skills

· Strong communications skills

· High School Diploma or higher and/or related work experience
