As our HR Business Partner for the site operations and reporting to the HR Director, you will partner with local leaders at our site in Atchison, Kansas in designing and implementing strategic HR practices, to get the best people outcomes that deliver on Bradken's business priorities.

You will work across the full employee lifecycle from attraction to exit from the business including recruiting for wages employees for our Atchison site.

As a passionate people person who can drive and influence change, you will play a key role in supporting and coaching leaders to achieve their best from a performance perspective, supporting investigations and disciplinary actions, positively developing the work environment and analyzing and improving people related business processes.

As an experienced Human Resources Business Partner with a background in human resources and employee/ industrial relations, you will possess a functional understanding of organisational design, labour budgeting, and support on EBA/Award/legislation interpretation to mitigate risk and will actively support union negotiations when required.

You will be our SME on designing and partnering with People Leaders on the implementation of HR activities to the operation / function including HR policies and procedures, HR systems and processes for the region.
You will partner with our L&D team in the implementation of the training governance framework with our sites to deliver competent employees and to increase capability.

Key Technical Criteria:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, Applied Science, Psychology or a related field
  • Human resources experience preferably in a heavy industrial environment
    Business Partner Model experience essential
    Understanding of Industrial relations legislative framework and ER strategies and tactics
  • You are someone who loves a challenge that focuses on improvement and will be an expert at managing conflicting priorities to achieve great outcomes as a key member of the Global People and Culture team.
