HR Recruiting Specialist

The HR Recruiting Specialist at InterDent is a key position that supports the Human Resources and Recruiting teams. This is a great position for someone seeking to grow into a HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or more senior Recruiting position.

In supporting multiple teams and deliverables, this role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a service mindset in supporting internal teams and customers in the field.

Responsibilities in the Recruiting Function

The HR Recruiting Specialist supports the Recruiting function with a focus on completing pre-hiring steps for Doctors joining the organization and supporting hygiene and critical openings

  • Source and support critical openings with a focus on Hygienist, Dentist, and Dental Assisting positions
  • Be a full cycle recruiter for ~10 – 15 Hygienist positions
  • Review and complete any follow up tasks from Credentialing in a timely manner and follow up with Doctors, teams in the field, and Credentialing as needed in order to maintain start dates
  • Create amendments to Doctor Agreements as requested
  • Assist with planning recruiting events and outreach efforts
  • Enroll offices into the rural healthcare tuition reimbursement program on an annual basis
  • Support University outreach and conferences

Responsibilities in Human Resources Support and Administration

The HR Recruiting Specialist supports the Human Resource team with a focus on supporting our teams in the field and completing tasks for new hires and employees.

  • Review emails sent to the HR inbox and complete ad-hoc tasks, process requests, answer policy questions, and/or provide policy information to employees
  • Respond to document requests as needed to support employee relations matters
  • Investigate and manage employee relation situations with the guidance and support of more experienced HR Managers

Background and Experience

  • 2 years or more of HR or recruiting experience or a B.A. in HR with significant Intern experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Working understanding of HR principals, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient with MS Office or related
  • Experience utilizing an HRIS system
  • Organizational and time management skills
