Housekeeping Inspector Job at 30A Luxury Vacations

30A Luxury Vacations Rosemary Beach, FL

We are a boutique luxury vacation rental property management company currently managing more than 85 properties in and around Rosemary Beach, FL. We are looking for experienced Housekeeping Inspectors to help us wow our guests and property owners. The job is a full-time hourly position with great benefits and may exceed 40 hours per week during peak seasons. The position will report to the housekeeping manager with room to grow with the company.

Compensation:

$17 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
  • Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
  • Answer general questions from guests
  • Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
  • Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed

Assist with preparing and inspecting our homes to ensure company standards of cleanliness and guest experiences are being met.

  • Perform inspections of properties to ensure they are guest-ready per company standards and coach cleaners to those standards and hold them accountable if they are not met.
  • Communicating any issues found to the proper channel via software used by our company.
  • Preparing amenities and linens for housekeepers to take to their properties
  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries as needed.
  • Folding linens and towels
  • Preparing linens and towels for sending to laundry
  • Delivering items to guests as needed
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
  • Ensuring the property is ready for occupancy for a guest, VIP or owner
  • Work closely and communicate with the maintenance and reservations departments
  • Coordinate the return of "Lost and Found" items with the reservations department
  • Ensure that housekeepers are at all times attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and owners.
  • Purchasing household goods for houses as required.
  • Assist with ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
  • At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
  • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
  • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
