Construction is currently underway to add 37,000 square feet of new and renovated space, ensuring AMC is at the forefront of veterinary medicine for generations to come.

Animal Medical Center (AMC) is looking for Housekeepers that will be responsible to maintain the overall general housekeeping of the hospital.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Will be responsible for sanitizing clinic spaces, restrooms and replacing bathroom supplies
  • Required to dust, mop, wipe daily staircases/hallways
  • Trash/Medical Waste disposal
  • Able to move furniture (i.e tables, chairs, file cabinets) up to 50lbs
  • Set up for events

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School/GED or Janitorial Service Certificate of Education
  • Ability to read and understand signs and labels written in English
  • Some similar experience preferred
  • Ability to be flexible and able to perform more than one task at a time
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to operate tools and equipment used in janitorial work
  • Must have knowledge of proper use and care of mechanical cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
