Summary:

This job is primarily responsible for for cleaning to maintain a clean and orderly dealership for customers and employees.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, kitchen, break rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using appropriate cleaning and disinfectant products.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Observe precautions required to protect the dealership and customer/employee property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom items.
• Clean rugs, carpet and upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean and tidy.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, using brooms and mops.
• Ensure appropriate signage is displayed when floors are wet.
• Remove debris from driveways and outside areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in the housekeeping/maintenance field is preferred but not required.
