Position Summary:
The purpose of the Housekeeper is to provide cleaning services throughout the facility to ensure a clean, neat environment for residents and employees. Janitor worker is to ensure that the cleaning needs of the facility and residents are met.

Both full-time positions and part-time, weekend positions are available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must commit to the Mission and Core Values of the organization and promote facility in a positive manner.
• Checks cart for all cleaning materials required, and lists additional supplies needed.
• Clean resident’s rooms.
• Sanitizes bathroom facilities, and supplies with soap, tissue and paper towels.
• Leaves cart neat and clean and empties all pails of cleaning solution at end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Gathers and distributes laundry to proper residents when clean.
• Operates washer and dryer, washing resident’s clothing, sheets, towels, diapers, etc.

Qualifications

• Prior Janitor / Housekeeping experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 unless eligible for a qualified exemption.

The final candidate must successfully pass The Reutlinger's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen. All staff, except wait staff and dishwasher positions, must be at least 18 years of age.
