Housekeeper Job at The Leland of Laurel Run
The Leland of Laurel Run is looking for a housekeeping team leader. This position is a hands on role working in our housekeeping/laundry department. Responsibilities for this position include:
- Assists with training for housekeeping/laundry staff.
- Creates staffing schedules.
- Maintains and keeps cleaning tools and equipment in good order and condition.
- Oversight of inventory and control of linens.
- Performs regular cleaning and housekeeping tasks and duties.
Skills and Specifications
- Must know how to direct, lead and train others in their cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
- Must be able to perform manual type of work in a professional manner.
- Must know how to utilize the tools and implements in cleaning and housekeeping and must be able to properly clean and maintain their good condition and state.
Education and Qualifications
- Completion of a High School diploma from a recognized educational institution.
- 2 years of custodial, janitorial or institutional cleaning and housekeeping experience.
