The House Car Driver is responsible for greeting guests and driving guests to and from requested destinations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive property-designated vehicles to and from guest destinations including, but not limited to, restaurants, wineries, etc. within radius set by management
• Comprehend and abide by all traffic regulations and speed limits and use caution not to damage the vehicle being driven or other vehicles in the vicinity
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle by cleaning and washing it when appropriate
• Park vehicle in designated location when not in use
• Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness
• Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property vehicle, and refuel as necessary
• Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Assist guests with luggage, respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Take vehicles for periodic servicing and fueling as required
• Assist the Concierge and Front Desk with deliveries, tasks and special requests
• Run errands for guests and the hotel
• Maintain effective communication within Guest ExperienceTeam, and with all hotel departments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a valid state driver's license
• Have proof of safe driving record as indicated by Motor Vehicle Record
• Experience in a luxury resort/driving service preferred
• Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas
• Proven experience with strong customer service skills, including ability to handle guest complaints and/or concerns
