City Watch Protective Services is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our team as an Armed Security Officer, providing security at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale, while also focusing on elevating the guest experience with a hospitality focus *prior Armed security experience required*

We are seeking an ideal candidate who can maintain our reputable brand of exceptional service, by providing memorable customer service, while enforcing the rules & regulations of the hotel. Our ideal candidate has prior experience as armed security, as well as hospitality and/or residential services field. The following skills are necessary, including following strict professional service standards, understanding the value of teamwork and communication, and carrying the ability to establish a genuine interest with guests, as well as provide anticipatory service.

Role and Responsibilities

• PM and Night shifts available
• Providing Safety and Security to the property, with a positive attitude and willingness to help
• Upholding client satisfaction by carrying the ability to problem solve, as well as uphold property quality
• Perform property tours, detailed report writing, and uphold strong communication levels with City Watch management and on-site hotel management.
• Follow emergency protocols, respond to any emergency situations at site, and have the flexibility to cover for disaster situations
• Collaborate in a positive work environment
• Perform a proper shift pass-on

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Must have a State issued Security G license
• Professional, articulate, and able to use discretion with empowerment
• Strong communication skills
• Responsible, and dependable
• Team player and ability to uphold our Customer First principles
• Ability to prioritize and respond swiftly to operational needs
• Must have the ability to follow specific post orders and complete training programs provided

Education required

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience required

• Prior armed security experience required, with one year of verifiable reference
• Hospitality and Residential Services experience preferred, with AA/BA degree in a related field considered

Pay: $18.00 per hour
