Host/Hostess Job at The Manor
The Manor is bringing Mount Vernon an eclectic venue on the cutting edge of style - featuring a vast selection of worldly cuisine, EDM and house music, weekend entertainment & Baltimore's best drag brunch.
Host/Hostess Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Host is the first person our Guests meet when entering our Restaurant. The Host/Hostess will warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
Other duties of the Host/Hostess limited too are:
- Answer the telephone
- Take reservations
- Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.
- Provide guests with estimated waiting time.
- Always maintaining a professional, courteous attitude when confronted with hostile, impatient or irate guests
- Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible, and balancing of customer flow in service stations.
- Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server's name.
- Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager on duty.The Host/Hostess position requires the ability to perform the following:
- Must be able to stand for a long period of time
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Maintain a professional attitude

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
