Kentfield Hospital - San Francisco is seeking a
Full Time Hospital Aide to join our team!
Kentfield Hospital-San Francisco, located in San Francisco, is a 40 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Hospital Aide are trained to perform the task of lifting/transferring patients in a safe, efficient manner. The Mobility technician is responsible for implementing all safety requirements as taught in training, including pre-visualization, assessment of patient condition, and use of mechanical devices. The Technician maintains all mechanical lifting equipment in good working order.
Qualifications:
- High School Education or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of Designated Coursework/Environmental Orientation within thirty (30) days of hire required.
- Current BLS from a Vibra approved vendor within thirty (30) days of hire required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $19.76 to $24.09.
