Hone Set Up Coordinator
The Honing Operator sets up and operates multiple machines, performing in process inspections to ensure proper specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Setup and operate multiple Honing machines; ability to make adjustments to tooling to ensure job specifications are achieved.
- Ability to setup and operate ECT machine.
- Adhere to job ticket specifications to ensure thorough awareness of the requirements of the job to be produced.
- Perform in-process inspection to ensure parts being produced meet quality standards.
- Ability to use in-process inspection equipment. Including microscope, plug gages, micrometers, and laser mikes.
- Ability to perform machine maintenance tasks when required.
- Willingness to support the team in all efforts towards continuous improvement.
- Maintain general cleanliness of equipment and work area.
Qualifications
- Basic Math skills
- Ability to read job ticket specifications.
- Ability to use plug gages.
- Ability to use micrometers.
- Ability to use microscope.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Ability to work well with others.
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED
