Home Health Scheduler Job at Regency Ihse Home Care Llc
OVERVIEW:
Operates computer to enter data. Schedules client visits. Updates client data with current data. Coordinates client schedules with Case Managers and Patient Care Coordinator to assure accuracy of plan of treatments.
JOB DUTIES/ KNOWLEDGE:
- Complies, sorts and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
- Tracks daily visits.
- Prints weekly draft staff schedules for assigned clinical team for the next week.
- Corrects any schedules for assigned clinical team that has been returned with changes noted.
- Prints final copy of weekly schedules.
- Counts and reports the number of visits scheduled for the following week.
- Assures that Plan of Treatment services and frequencies are consistent with client schedules prior to printing certification/ recertification document groups.
- Assures consistent flow of data with communication among various disciplines and supervisors.
- Apprises the Director of Clinical Services of any staffing issues, which will effect workload/ productivity requirements, whether anticipated as short or long term, in a timely manner.
- Promotes a “team” working environment, utilizing C.Q.I. principles and monitoring information from data entry on an ongoing basis.
- Actively participates in Agency Performance Improvement activities.
- Completes other duties, as assigned, timely and accurately.
One Year of certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer literate with skills
Type at 45 to 60 wpm preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communication with individuals of all ages, especially the population served by agency.
DEGREES OF TRAVEL:
Limited travel. May perform office errands on an infrequent basis.
