What You Will Do as the Business Office Manager

As a Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Business Office Specialists duties and assigning special tasks to each back-office team member including cross-training. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations including claim management, annual evaluations, policy updates, and clinical compliance requirements. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

  • Communicating changes in employee policies and procedures as provided by the corporate office
  • Coordinating or conducting exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation to provide information for employee retention
  • Consulting with the Stonerise Home Health Director of Human Resources as needed
  • Recruiting, scheduling interviews, processing, and hiring new team members
  • Ensuring all team members complete assigned compliance trainings
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reports to monitor productivity, overtime, etc.
  • Overseeing the process and procedures for supply management including office and clinical supply orders
  • Overseeing unbilled claims management by working closely with CMs, AEs, BOSs, clinicians to obtain the required documents needed for billing

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements

  • Associate degree in Human Resource Management or in a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in HR including employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and payroll
