We are looking for a caregiver for a an 11 year old, in the Hastins, MI. I am hiring for 1st shift on Sat/Sun 8-4, and 2nd shift Sat/Sun 4-12, and a full time 2nd shift. This client is physically aggressive. These outbursts do not happen every day, or all day, however we do need a caregiver who can handle these behaviors when they do happen, and does well with deescalation. Parents will be in the home, so staff will not left alone with the client. The staff is more there to witness and to assist if parents need help.

Pay is $16 an hour, plus covid pay for a total of $18.35 an hour.

You will be providing care for this Individual in their home. This individual will require assistance in their day to day life. Some examples of what your duties would be:

• assisting or supervising with personal care
• assist in meal prep and planning
• monitor when in the community and teach safety skills
• helping the individual to interact positively with their environment

Qualifications and Skills

Ideally, staff should be empathetic, show high attention to detail, have good interpersonal skills, be personable, organized, and demonstrate good time management skills.

Reliable transportation is required. Ability to transport clients is not required, but it is highly desired. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Past experience is preferred but training will be provided.

Pro Care Unlimited will call recent jobs. Reference checks are required.

Pay is based on experience. Staff will receive an additional $2.35/hr COVID Hazard pay on top of their base pay.
