Wellness, Recovery and Employment Program (WREP) Supervisor

Highland County Community Action Organization Inc. has full time, 40 hour a week grant position available for a WREP Supervisor. This is a highly responsible administrative and management position. This position will oversee the operations and procedures of the Wellness, Recovery and Employment Program (WREP). Supervisor will manage program employees, oversee services and training, assist with recruitment plans and local partnerships, provide support and advocacy to clients who have dual-diagnosis of mental health and substance use disorders. The WREP Supervisor will provide resources to their staff and clients in order to link the client to peer support and other needed resources to support recovery.

The goal of WREP is to support and assist clients in identifying a healthy support system, prevent criminal justice involvement, provide coaching and guidance for a healthy lifestyle, identify employment and training needs, and oversee group sessions.

The primary work site will be at Highland County Community Action Greenfield and Hillsboro locations. Equipment used includes general types of office equipment.

The WREP Supervisor will have a professional counselor’s licensure in mental health and/or substance use disorder, with experience in the field or a similar field. Familiarity with local events, employers, training facilities/educational establishments, activities, businesses, and positive, healthy environments that would support recovery is recommended.

Applicant must have a valid Ohio Drivers License and be insurable under the agency fleet insurance policy and must be able to bend, stoop, and lift over 40 pounds.
