Manage a team of security personnel for a high-rise commercial building in SF.
The Supervisor will oversee the daily security operations and direct security staff to keep the building and its tenants safe and secure.
The Security Supervisor is a vital member of the Security Team who is responsible for leading the Security Team and providing a safe and secure environment in which guests can relax and/or conduct business.

Available Positions:

  • 1600 - 0000 (4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.) Thursday - Monday
  • 1600 - 0000 (4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.) Thursday - Monday
  • 0000 - 0800 (12:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.) Friday - Tuesday

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Oversee the daily security operations and team
  • Assume a role in developing, implementing security strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and serve as the primary point of contact for Fire, EMS, and PD personnel.
  • Handle security and tenant issues directly with minimal supervision.
  • Liaison between the Security Account Manager and the Client.
  • Deal with vendors and contractors working in the building.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings with building management.
  • Manage staff's rest and lunch breaks.
  • Review employee schedules and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Respond to emergencies from fire alarms, medical emergencies, trespassers, homeless, etc.
  • Enforce all building policies and procedures with security staff as well as tenant employees.
  • Review Security Officer's daily reports and logs.
  • Manage, handle and oversee all security equipment and its usage.
  • Be able to wear many hats.
  • Handles employee disputes and grievances.
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere and workplace to promote strong team ethics and work habits.
  • Makes recommendations based on security needs and building needs to strengthen the overall security.*

Minimum Qualifications
:

  • Must have a Guard Card license.
  • Must be able to work in the US.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience are required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • High-Rise security experience (Preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Fire Life Safety Systems and its protocols.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with low to high-level employees and executives.
  • Ability to work with computers and technology.
  • Must maintain good attendance.
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining alert at all times.
