Position Summary:

This position is responsible for daily help desk support maintenance, including managing advertised support hours and oversight of the workflow for support issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

One must be able to perform the essential functions of the job; which include, but are not limited to the following (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs):

  • Support all technology needs for executive leadership and user base in our NYC corporate headquarters.
  • Display world class customer focused IT support by developing and maintaining relationships within the business at all levels.
  • Perform daily checks on all open executive issues and communicating ongoing status as needed.
  • Train executive/administrative assistants on the operation of key technology systems located in the office including video conferencing and telephony.
  • Recommend innovative technologies that benefit the company such as process improvement, automation and new hardware/software.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new technology products based on industry best practices and methodologies.
  • Resolve complex issues, troubleshoot user problems at the desktop, and/or provide phone/remote support to diagnosis remote customer issues.
  • Install, support, and provide end user training for Apple iOS platform.
  • Correct hardware problems with supported desktops, laptops, and peripherals by coordinating support with OEM vendors and other internal IT support teams.
  • Ability to explain complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner (communicate both technically and non-technically).
  • Develop, document, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Provide timely remote support for traveling executives.
  • Enhance value and disruption by confidently communicating with senior executives.
  • After hours, weekend, and holiday work may be required depending on work volume, outages, and emergency situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

· Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred

· 4 years of relevant experience is required

Technology

  • Highly proficient in Windows 10/Windows 11 Operating System
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies including Office365
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer networking including firewalls & VPN
  • Working knowledge of printer/copier hardware
  • Working knowledge of AV technologies

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Able to physically perform the following duties for prolonged periods of time:

  • Unassisted lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Bending, Walking, Kneeling, Stretching.
  • Able to work on step ladders or extension ladders up to 30 feet.
  • Able to work in confined spaces, indoors and outdoors in all climates, and unclean environments with fumes, dust and poor ventilation while adhering to company safety requirements and programs.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
