Mid-Continent Coal and Coke, an 80-year-old, privately held company is looking for a Full-time Operator/Loader in the Milton, Ky area. If you are looking for a long-term career with diverse duties, this may be the perfect position for you!

Responsibilities/skills required include:

• Experience operating heavy equipment (articulated loader) and a skid steer
• Basic knowledge of truck scaling/weigh ticket preparation
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment routine maintenance
• Willingness and ability to perform manual labor (shoveling, digging etc.)
• Flexibility to workdays and nights as needed
• General maintenance and/or Welding Skills, a plus

Candidates must also be able to follow specific detailed instructions and work in a safety-oriented manner. Comfortable with PPE including fall protection; harness and lanyard, etc. The position is year-round, but much of the work is done in an outdoor environment during various weather conditions.

Additional requirements include:

• Must have a valid driver's license, experience driving tractor-trailer desired, but not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move 100 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and when requested
