This opportunity is for an Overnight Shift: Thursday - Saturday 7 pm to 7 am

We are seeking a candidate to assist in the support and stabilization of patients while they receive immediate acute psychiatric treatment followed by referrals for continued inpatient or outpatient treatment depending on their needs. Candidate will assist in supporting crisis triage working closely with case management, psychiatry and the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications Required

  • HS diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR which agency will provide if candidate does not have current certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in client services related field is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience with remaining attentive, alert, and caring with individuals.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling a maximum of 100 pounds as needed.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, partial shifts, holidays and 8/10/12 hour shifts.
  • Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain fingerprint clearance and completion of a background check.

Qualifications Preferred

  • Experience in the field or combined field specific education and experience totaling 4 years of experience.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish.
  • Experience working in Integrated Healthcare, Behavioral Health or Inpatient Unit.
  • Advanced knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity.
