Healthcare/Life Science Architect / Interior Designer Job at KIRKSEY ARCHITECTS INC

We are seeking a dynamic new team member who is enthusiastic about healthcare architecture with a focus on the design of healthcare and life sciences interior environments to join our Houston office. You will work with project teams to develop solutions for projects in the healthcare and life sciences market sectors. All projects are documented utilizing REVIT 3D modeling tools, so you should be comfortable modeling in REVIT.
Responsibilities:
- Development of design concepts for interior spaces and selection of finish palettes.
- Full design documentation and coordination with Project Team, including interior specifications for our projects.
- Project Team resource for technical guidance to resolve design issues while maintaining design intent.
- Facilitate open team communication with all levels of Project Team – Internal Team, Owners, Contractors, and Consultants.
- Ability to use multiple design and documentation software packages (REVIT, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
- Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of experience
- Licensure is preferred
- Willingness for mentorship
