Providence Point, Pittsburgh's premier retirement community, is seeking a Healthcare Administrative Assistant.. Our community is located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA, in Scott Township (15243), near Bower Hill Road and I-79; with PAT 41 bus stop at our property entrance.

The Administrative Assistant is required to maintain facility records. in compliance with established standards and practices, as well as serving as the Health Center Receptionist. Coordinates the ordering and distribution of office supplies. Performs various clerical duties as needed. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties.

The position requires:

  • High school diploma or GED or one to three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Long term care experience related to understanding of medical terminology, medical records and filing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong ability to perform math functions which includes computing rate, ratio, and percent as well as to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

The shift is Monday-Friday. Pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check required.
