We are seeking a HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Health Unit Coordinator provides support in patient care areas to visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and caring manner.

Hours: This position is Full Time; 0.8 FTE or 64 hours per pay period.

Experience/Qualifications/Licensure

• Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience., and courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Health Unit Coordinators, or training/education to meet job requirements beneficial.
• Two years’ experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
