Full-Time 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week), Days (8:00am - 5:00pm), occasional evening and Saturday hours

Job Description:

The Health Science Resource Center (HSRC) Technology Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of human and non-human simulation activities including integrating, maintaining, and operating computer and audiovisual technology, and executing simulation equipment, used in the operation of the HSRC department.

This position reports to the HSRC Director and Simulation Coordinator.

Qualifications:

Education : The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience with medical simulation technology.

Experience: Knowledge and skill in the application of the principles and practices of information technology including, but not limited to, MS Office software, photoshop, audiovisual hardware, and software systems is required. Knowledge and experience with human simulators and virtual reality equipment preferred. Additional training and course work to be completed within the first 12 months of employment.

Skills: Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal skills with customer service ethics including a friendly and helpful attitude. A willingness to learn, flexibility, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality.
