Job Summary
Audit new orders for accuracy prior to sending claim to payor. Ensures compliance with payor, government, hospital, Pink Door Boutique and Health Essentials requirements. Ensure all new patient charts are complete and accurate. Keep current on Medicare, Medicaid and payor medical policies and billing requirements. Process billing and open work open orders. Work outstanding accounts receivables. Makes deposits, balances to reports, and applies payments to customer accounts. Scans information into charts, submits electronic submissions, and downloads payments. Calls insurance to process charges for payment or approval.
Preferred Work Experience
Two years' experience in medical billing
