Varsity Badminton Head Coach Position
Long Island Lutheran School is currently seeking to fill the position of Varsity Badminton Head Coach for the Spring 2023 season (March-May). The vision of our Athletic Program directly aligns with our overall goal as a Christ-centered academic institution to educate young people in Mind, Body and Spirit. As Coaches and Athletic Staff, we create an unparalleled experience for all of our LuHi student athletes through leading with our Core values of Christian Love, Excellence, Family and Community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years coaching experience and or athletic experience in Cheerleading, have a schedule that allows them to be at LuHi by 3:30/4:00 pm (4-5 days a week), and strong communication skills. Additional job responsibilities include:
● Expected to uphold LuHi core values in all interactions with students, faculty, staff, and others in the LuHi community.
● Communicate effectively with parents, players, Athletic directors, Athletic
Trainers, and School Administration.
● Organize all facets of team actions (develop and share rosters with Athletic
Director, distributing team schedule, practice times, develop practice plans, physicals, attendance at practices, etc.).
● Organizing and attending all practices, games and travel competitions.
● Every Coach must complete the following Coaching certification trainings: CPR/AED/First-Aid, Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harrassment, and Concussion.
● All LuHi Coaches and Staff are required to complete a Background Check
Salary range: $3500-4500 for the season based on position and prior experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per year

- After school
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
