Working with our clients’ style guidelines, as well as our internal best practices for SEO and industry-specific marketing language (legal, medical, etc), the person in this role will serve as our resident editor in chief in brand guardianship and bar none excellence. They will collaborate with both our clients and team members to be a content moderator by establishing quality control processes, finding solutions for quality issues as they arise, and maintaining accountability across departments.

The Head of Proofreading is responsible for quality control across client accounts. This entails proofreading and monitoring the quality of all produced pages and blogs and ensuring a high standard across written copy that will be published live on WordPress sites. This also includes conducting tests to ensure website functionality such as testing for broken images, linking issues, the success of a page layout, and more. There is potential for the Head of Proofreading to advance into a role with direct reports.

While previous marketing experience is a plus, we understand that people come to content development from many walks of life. The most important things to bring to this position are a willingness to learn, a passion for excellence, a desire to see projects through to the finish line, and a Sherlock Holmes eye for detail.
