Head Coach- Flag Football Job at New Bedford Public Schools
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF CLASSIFICATION: Coach the team with other duties including recruitment, practice and race day coaching,conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance practice facility and equipmenttravel, game management responsibilities at assigned games.This important role requires extensive student and coach interaction, and the ability toconfidently interact and engage with a diverse population.Job Duties: Teach all aspects of the sport through fundamentals in daily practice sessions. Recruit and maintain an active team roster for the team to develop a competitive team. Develop and evaluate each athletes performance. Conduct and supervise all practices.
Schedule and attend all contests.Qualifications: Complete understanding running and how to train athletes. Some experience in Flag Football preferred. Experience teaching, developing, and coaching Flag Football.Terms: Reports to: Principal or DesigneeProgram Dates: 5/1/2023-6/10/2023Compensation: In Accordance with the Unit A ContractLocation: Roosevelt Middle School
