Position Title: Manager, Orange Park Attic

**This position will help oversee the set-up and grand opening for our new Palatka location.**

The Attic Operations Manager manages day-to-day operations of the retail thrift shop including donation collection, processing and sales floor and ensures all components are operating in an efficient and effective manner. Hires and trains staff and volunteers as well as supervises and assigns work to staff and volunteers. Oversee maintenance of the collection and processing area, sales floor, dressing rooms, rest rooms, offices and parking lot. Ensure opening and closing of store during scheduled business hours and schedules staff and volunteers for adequate store coverage. Monitors the flow of customers and ensures all customers receive fast efficient service and maintains a clean, well organized, safe store environment by overseeing completion of daily quality control check lists by staff and volunteers. Implements precautionary measures to prevent potential safety hazards and theft. Responsible and accountable for completion of daily sales reports, bank deposits, and change orders for cash registers as well as responsible and accountable for maintaining petty cash fund and keeping accurate records of expense and reimbursements. Monitors cash flow in cash registers and makes deposits to drop safe as required and ensures quality customer service by ensuring customer orders and donations are processed efficiently and in an accurate, safe, courteous and timely manner. Oversee merchandising of inventory and seasonal displays for increased sales.

You Have:

• High School or GED equivalent required
• Experience – At least 4 years retail sales management experience
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with all levels of staff, volunteers and the general public in a tactful and efficient manner
