The Guillotine Cutter, Machine Operator operates an overhead knife cutting stock to precise measurements for game money, score pads, cards, etc. This person will program the cutting sequence into the cutter's computer while following the work instruction on the time ticket. This role requires a high attention to detail and precision.

What You'll Do as a Guillotine Cutter, Machine Operator:

• Responsible for accurately reporting production and waste counts by verifying sheet/piece counts using prescribed methods.
• Operator is responsible for changing blades and performing required TPM.
• Responsible for the overall operation of the cutting cell including setups and changeovers.
• Both paper processing and board/card conversion.
• Must make productivity and quality standards on all cutting operations following applicable QSAMs.
• Move between Cost Centers to support business needs.
• Train new/transferred employees as required. Works under limited supervision and must be able to operate a forklift.
• Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs and/or other operational strategies.

We're Looking for a Guillotine Cutter, Machine Operator Who Has:

• Ability to make good judgement.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to use measuring instruments to calculate cut dimensions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to learn to operate all overhead knives and cutting processes.

Physical Requirements Include the Ability to:

• Stand or sit for an 8-hour shift
• Repetitively grasp, pinch, push and pull with arms hands, occasionally simultaneously, with and without mechanical assisted devices
• Frequently transfer objects and materials weighing up to 25 lbs
• Reach above shoulder height to work, bending and stooping occasionally to work at different heights
• Safely mount, dismount and operate mobile equipment
• Move from one area to another in the department around equipment, climb stairs, platforms and ladders
• This Guillotine Cutter, Machine Operator position is located on-site in our East Longmeadow, MA facility
