Reports to: Sr. Vice President, Head of Product

Location: Remote; some travel required

What we’re looking for:

The successful candidate will be a seasoned strategic business leader that is collaborative and outcome focused, with strong technical and domain experience in healthcare and the ASC space. The candidate will be responsible for the product roadmap and ensuring that the products in their domain are successful. They will need to work with stakeholders across the company to ensure that the products they are responsible for are valuable to the company and its customers.


The group product manager plays a vital role in the company moving towards a more agile way of developing products. They ensure their product team’s are hyper focused on the key priorities and aid in the removal of roadblocks.


Responsibilities:

  • Define and articulate the vision for their product portfolio and be accountable for delivery.
  • Engage with clients to understand and collaborate on their challenges, needs, and complex workflows - run user research and focus groups as appropriate.
  • Determine optimal way to implement key solutions that balance level of effort, market trends, partner system architecture and business needs while ensuring product requirements are sufficiently documented and defined.
  • Grow, lead, work with a team of product managers to ensure that each product aligns with the overall strategy and vision.
  • Ensure internal stakeholder alignment and manage product communications and education with stakeholders throughout the company.
  • Collaborate closely with product engineering to understand how product / technology can support strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize backlog by making trade-off decisions, balancing user delight, time to market, and business goals.
  • Responsible for identifying and managing dependencies and thinking about all aspects of the product, from defining business problems to implementation.
  • Identify, track and measure the appropriate product metrics to drive product adoption, delightful user experiences, and quality of deliverables.
  • Contributes to a strong product culture of continuous development and rapid iteration.
  • Co-produce with internal teams to complete and communicate competitive positioning and value propositions
  • Creation and circulation of product requirements documentation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across HST to identify and mitigate potential risks for new product launches


Qualifications:

  • Significant product management experience including 8-10+ years leading the delivery of successful portfolios of products. Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
  • Experience developing business plans and roadmaps for a solutions portfolio
  • Proven ability to work with partners and clients to deliver upon joint solutions under tight timeframes
  • Team management and leadership talent, including a knack for unblocking projects and growing both senior and junior people.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise in practice management, including deep understanding of revenue cycle, billing/case costing, case/workflow management in the ambulatory surgical space.
  • Familiarity with major EHR systems, processes, and data flows (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth).
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues and external parties
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
