BrightPath is looking for acommitted, ambitious, self-motivated, and person-centered leader for a Designated Coordinator position at our residential site!

The Designated Coordinator will be one of two supervisors in the home who will provide oversight, support and evaluation of the delivery of services according to the coordinated service and support plan and addendum. They will ensure quality service delivery and compliance with state regulations as well as oversee training and support of program teams to develop, implement, and conduct a customized plan that helps guide the person toward achieving their goals.

PAY: $25 to $28 per hour

Location: Home is located in Burnsville, MN

About You: You're a person-centered leader and have experience supporting individuals with higher levels of interfering behaviors. This position will be responsible for supervising Behavior Techs. You have at least three years of supervisory and personnel management experience in human services. You meet the Designated Manager qualifications in accordance with 245D requirements, which include 3 years supervisory experience AND

  • A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services AND 1 year full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities over the age 18 or older

OR 1 of the 3 options below:

  • An associate degree in a field related to human services or public relations AND 2 years of full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities over the age 18 or older.
  • A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution AND 3 years of full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities over the age 18 or older.
  • A minimum of 50 hours education and training related to human services and disabilities AND 4 years of full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities over age 18 or older under the supervision of a person who meets any of the qualifications above.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory and/or leadership experience in a social service organization
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, along with possess the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and documentation, including medical terminology, in English
  • Experience with the administration of 245D licensing requirements
  • Leadership and management skills including time management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Receptive to learning and applying new skills, techniques, and approaches
  • Demonstrated flexibility, anticipate and respond effectively to change, along with prioritization, and organize work effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • You must have reliable transportation for work driving purposes. A valid driver’s license, proof of valid car insurance is required.
  • You must be able pass a background check with the Department of Health and Human Services.
