We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team in Palm Beach Shores, Florida! The groundskeeper assists with maintaining clean and organized facilities.

Job Duties:

• Adheres to the center’s philosophy.
• Assists, promotes, and carries out Banyans highest level of cleanliness.
• Ensure the buildings provide a welcoming environment.
• Ensure day to day standards of cleanliness around the facilities premises.
• Reports any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices to management.
• Performs routine daily cleaning of outside premises; such as, trash, grill grates, window washing, and maintaining cleanliness and up keep of building.
• Ensures that all garbage from waste baskets and trash are removed and disposed of properly.
• Interact appropriately with patients, showing them respect while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Protects the confidentiality of patients and the privacy of staff.
• Accepts and utilizes supervision.
• Addresses problems noted by supervisor.
• Communicate with supervisor and keep supervisor informed of significant developments
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities and contribute to the welfare of the organization
• Pursue professional development through participation in education and training programs
• Have good work habits: get things done in a timely, efficient manner
• Function well as a team member and contribute positively to the morale of staff
• Maintain good communication
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one year of grounds keeping experience.

Abilities/Competencies:

• Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline.
• Adheres to: Healthcare Code of Ethics
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards
• Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding: Client Confidentiality
