JOB TITLE: Grinding Operator
DEPARTMENT: Operations
LOCATION: Union City, OK
TRAVEL: N/A
Red River Brick, the largest manufacturer of brick and masonry materials in North America, is seeking a Grinding Operator for our facility in Union City, OK.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow Meridian safety standards and procedures
Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure minimal unplanned stops
Communicate and record abnormalities to the supervisor
Monitor the equipment and record daily data of the condition of the equipment
Must be able to perform minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
Ensure quality of the material being grinded
Keep material stock levels.
EDUCATION:
- High school or equivalent required
- MSHA Training
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift experience, loader and backhoe experience or the ability to learn to operate them safely
- 1+ years experience in manufacturing preferred

Experience with hammer mills is a plus
Experience with belt conveyors is a plus
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Able to perform various form of physical labor (i.e. lifting 50 lbs/ standing)
- Ability to work well with others and be a team player
- Perform light maintenance on equipment
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Committed to working in a zero harm workplace
- Able to work flexible hours when needed
